Waiting...........

SO... its my Friday today because our office is closed tomorrow... YA for a 3 day weekend! Time to spend with my little boy.   :)

I put Matthew down for a nap about 30 minutes ago and just realized that I'm hungry. We have nothing good to eat at home and I am NOT about to wake my cranky boy up just so I can get food so I decided to order a pizza from Pizza Hut.....

Well apparently they are SUPER busy on Thursday nights??? I figured its a week day it cant be too bad. I ordered the pizza online so of course it doesnt tell you that the wait time is gonna be an hour and a half until  AFTER you already pay. GRRRRRR!
I would have just waited and gone somewhere else had I known it was gonna be that long. So now im just sitting here waiting for the Suns game to start..... starving. Sad day. :(

Sorry for my pizza rant.... I'm alone and now I'm irritated......

Poor Matthew has another ear infection. I hope this isn't going to be a recurring problem. Matthew has got to be the happiest baby in the world, so when he doesn't feel good he makes EVERYONE aware. He has been so so cranky and whiny for almost a week now. I hope this infection clears up and we can go back to our normal happy days. He just constantly wants to be held and loved. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that he wants to cuddle because he never WANTS to, but i can't do it all day long!!

He is getting so big! We had his 9 month well check a couple weeks ago. He weighed 18lbs and he is 28 and half inches long. His weight is average and his height is in like the 60-70%. I hope he is tall ;)
And since we had to take him back to the doctor to check his ears he was weighed again and he is almost 20 lbs. So with that news we have upgraded him to a forward facing car seat!!!! He absolutely loves that he can now see where he is going and what everyone up front is doing.  We also switched him over to a sippy cup about a month ago! He is such a fast learner with practically everything! He says mama, dada, papa, and when referring to grandma (um-ma). He is pulling himself up and climbing over things. We can't keep him contained!!!!

 We are excited because we are gonna be moving very soon! We are looking to rent a house out in Queen Creek! I never thought I would ever WANT to live in Queen Creek but the time has come that it is just the best option for our little family! Everything is cheaper and so much nicer out there! Plus i work out there and it would be nice to be closer to work and Matthew during the day! We have a couple houses we really like and we have filled out an application so hopefully all will go as planned and we can move very very soon. We are excited!

Well I think thats all thats new. I will have to post some pics later. All my pics are through my phone and the online album with verizon isnt working at the moment..... So when I can get that working I'll overload you people with lots of pics! Til next time!!!

Time to Baby Proof EVERYTHING!!!

Matthew is Crawling... enough said. 

He is EVERYWHERE! I put him on one side of the room and turn around to get something and he's GONE. Nowhere to be seen and usually getting into something he shouldn't be in. Figures right? 

Well now he's been pulling himself up! At first it was just up to his knees, eating the couch or a shelf but today we walked into his room to get him up from a nap and discovered THIS!!!

My baby boy is getting TOO big TOO fast!! He will be 9 months on Saturday! This year has flown by! Where has the time gone?

We have had a very busy month. Between Berto's birthday and Matthew decided to learn EVERYTHING this month, I'm going NUTS!
Matthew now says "mama" and "uh oh" So stinkin cute!
Im so happy he said mama first!! :)

Oh March, slow down please...

HaPpY BiRtHdAy RoBeRto!!

 On the 2nd of this month we celebrated Berto's 26th birthday. We didn't do much. Hung out most the day at home since we were both off work.  We went to lunch at Native New Yorker with our friends Anthony and Denice. I t was a lot of fun. Instead of cake this year I made Berto a cupcake tower. It turned out really cute! 

 

March has been a pretty crazy month for us! Berto turned 26 and Matthew is SOOOOO close to crawling!! He gets up on his hands and knees and rock s!  He'll put his hands forward and almost move his knees but then he just plops back on his tummy. He's SO cute!

YES that's Right! For some STRANGE reason my baby boy LOVES these 2 things! Coke bottles and water bottles! I think he likes the crinkling noises they make. They have to be empty in order for him to like them! Its so funny!

 I also LOVE the weather we've had lately! With all the rain, my grass is actually GREEN!  
Its so nice to have rain and clouds and cold weather, instead of dry, hot, and and SUN.

3 YeArS/ DiSnEyLaNd!!

 I have lots to talk about.... Matthew is finally sitting! He just loves to sit and he's so good at it! 

Last weekend was our 3rd anniversary. We decided to take a vacation and spend the week in California and a few days in Disneyland. Which is where we spent our honeymoon 3 years ago! I can't believe how fast these 3 years have gone by and now we have a baby!! Time flies!

 We brought my mom with us since MY grandma lives near Disneyland and that way Great Grandma got to see Matthew and my mom gets to see her mom. Whoo! Anyway, so we dropped Matty and My mom off with my grandma and headed off to Disneyland for 3 days! It was really weird to be away from Matthew. Neither, me or Berto, have spent a whole night away from Matthew since he's been in our lives!! I think by the second day we were both having separation anxiety. But, it was a welcomed break and a WONDERFUL vacation!!

As a special request from my Aunt Jo, I HAD to find Mickey to give him a hug for her! My first thought were, YA RIGHT! Trying to find Mickey at Disneyland and actually being able to get anywhere near him, NO WAY!

BUT i was wrong and I found him and I got a picture ALONE with him!! So there you go

 After spending 3 days at Disney we were absolutely Exhausted! So the 3rd day we left early because we were anxious to get back to see our baby. We spent the rest of week hanging out with my grandma and at the beach. It was so relaxing and so fun! I couldnt have asked for a better vacation. I can't wait to do again! Hopefully our next vaca will be to El Salvador. ( My hubby is from there and I would love to see his country!)

Matthew LOVED the beach. He was laughing and smiling the whole time until I wanted a picture.... of course! 

We started Matthew on second foods a couple weeks ago! My baby is growing up so dang fast! He trying to crawl but he's just not quite there yet! He gets up on his elbows and knees and rocks but doesn't quite get that he can use his knees and arms to move around! 

We also moved Matthew to his own room this week! I have been so apprehensive about doing this just because I worry so he's been in our room. But I finally got the courage and moved him and he is doing really well! He LOVES his crib! I'm still surprised at how well he has transitioned! Well thats all for now!!

Its been awhile....

SOOOO... its been a very busy/hectic month... This is how my entire family has felt for the past 4 days... I made the mistake of leaving roast out on the counter "defrosting" for too long and had no idea I would poison my family by still cooking and serving it. This is exactly why i HATE cooking! This very reason! I'm always so afraid that my meat isn't done or that I'm gonna make someone sick and sure enough it has happened!! It makes me never want to cook again! My long "lost" friend Chelsea found me on facebook and we started talking again! She is now a cosmetologist and cut/styled my hair for me! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new hair cut! Its so nice to have a style that I HAVE to do everyday! I can't just throw it up in a ponytail... Its also nice to have a girlfriend that lives close to me and that I can go out and have lunch with or go shopping with!! Something I'm sure me and my Shawna would be doing if she were here closer to me!! My precious baby boy had to have surgery this past monday. He had to have his hernias repaired and his circumcision revised. He did so well! We had it done at the new Cardon Children's Hospital and it was SOOOO nice! Everyone was so sweet and Matthew's Recovery Nurse was the BEST! They gave him a teddy bear before surgery but in the recovery room he threw up all over it so the nurse called like 4 different departments trying to find him a new teddy bear!! She was so sweet! He ended up getting a little puppy instead but he also got to keep his teddy bear!! It was a very pleasant experience for what we were there for. Thanks to everyone for their prayers and thoughts for our baby boy and for me too. I was such a mess. Its so hard to watch your baby go in for surgery! He's only 6 months old and I was so not happy about it! But he is doing so well! you would never know he even had any surgery! He is so happy and smiley! He is such a good baby! He's my stud muffin! (That's what his bib says!) Haha I love this picture! I was playing the Wii with my sister and I had sat Matthew next to me and he was perfectly happy... He was just so quiet I kind of forgot he was there and the next thing I know he's asleep sitting up!! I couldn't help but take a picture and laugh a little!! Babies can sleep in the weirdest positions!! I was at the Target in Queen Creek, which is where I found Matthew's stroller/swing/and play pin combo when I was pregnant, and I always look at the high chair when I go to that Target because I knew eventually I would want it so that we would have the whole set.... So I went there a couple weeks ago and I was sooooooooo excited because it was clearanced!! His high chair is normally like $130 and I snagged it for 70 bucks!! I was very happy about that because Matthew is finally old enough that he needs to have a high chair to sit in and it happened at just the right time!! He was pretty happy about too.... Since Matthew had to have surgery I had a few days off work and when I don't work for a few days in a row I get bored!! I found myself glued to this show!! I totally loved 16 and pregnant when it was on... I don't agree with 16 year old girls getting pregnant but I was pregnant when that show aired and it was actually very educational for me being a first time mom!! So this show is like a spin off of 16 and pregnant and it shows some of the girls from the first show coping with life being a Teen Mom, hence the name.... So that is my life this month.... Its been very stressful and I'm glad things are finally starting to calm down... Let's hope they stay that way!! OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!................................. and my anniversary is coming up this next month! February 20 3 YEARS!! So my hubby is taking me to.............................. DiSnEyLaNd!!!!!!! I didn't get to go last year... obviously, I was pregnant and it was NOT an option! So I get to go this year and for my anniversary!! I can't wait! Its one of my absolute favorite places to be and who better to be there with than my LOVE!! I will take LOTS of pictures and post them after the trip!!

2009 Recap

Oh 2009.... It has been a CRAZY, extremely eventful year. I won't get into all the craziness, but those of you who know me and my family... YOU KNOW... Despite being miserable and pregnant for half the year it was totally worth it. My baby is turning 6 months on sunday and i can't believe time has flown by so quickly. My sister-in-law Flor just had her baby today. So Matthew now has a cousin. all in all 2009 has been a pretty good year. We have had our ups and downs but its been good. I can say that I am looking forward to 2010 and hope that its ten times better than 2009. Christmas was really low key. We went to my parents house to open presents and eat yummy food. the whole family was together which doesn't happen very often. It was nice. I got a bread maker, and new silverware, and clothes. Its GREAT! i get to make my own bread and it turned out soooo yummy. unfortunately i missed new year.... 3RD time in row! 2008 i had just gotten a Nintendo DS and i was too busy playing the game, when i looked up it was already 1:00am!! 2009, i was at my mom's and we couldnt find the stupid countdown clock on tv so we had to go by our clocks which were of course off by a couple minutes so i missed in then too. 2010... sadly i was watching Indiana Jones, because im just not cool enough to go to any parties..., and all of the sudden berto says, OH.... Happy New year... and of course its 12:03am. UGH!!! Next year i vow to have a good new year and actually get to countdown the new year! Im so lame. haha. Well next time I'll post some pictures.
