Happy Father's Day!! Move Update!!

Happy Father's Day to my hubby!! He's the best daddy in the world and I'm so grateful for him. I'm sad he had to work today so I didn't get to spend it with him but we will celebrate a different day when he's off.

WE FINALLY MOVED!!

We officially live in San Tan Valley, AZ (or Queen Creek) I feel like we have moved an entire world away from my family! We live in Johnson Ranch so for those of you who know where that is we are like 15 miles from Florence and Coolidge. We are Pinal County. In other words:

WE ARE VERY FAR!!!

BUT, I am totally in love with the house we moved into. I love the neighborhood and the fact that I am closer to my job. I also love the fact that our backyard is basically a golf course!! We have a nice green yard and then a slotted fence that backs up right to the golf course. Our house is right in front of a hole. I don't know what number hole it is cuz I can't read the flag but its right there! We have already found 3 golf balls in the yard!!  I couldn't be happier and I am super grateful to the family that rented the house to us.

Aside from moving nothing is really new. We are just still getting settled in. My sister Kinsey no longer lives with us. She chose to move back in with my parents because it was too far for her job and her friends and in the end was a better decision for her. I really miss having her company though. Especially since Berto works nights and I hate being alone.

On the other hand, this is the very first time Berto and I have lived alone since we were dating!! He moved in with me in Dec of 2006, we got married in Feb of 2007 and like a week later my brother moved in with us. He just barely moved out in April of this year and before he left Kinsey had moved in with us in Oct of 09. So now that Kinsey has moved out we are ALONE!! I'm not sure we know how to handle it!! hahahaha.

In our new house we were lucky enough to be able to paint and decorate however we want. So far we have only done Matthew's room. We are a little obsessed with Toy Story right now.... We re-did his room and made it Toy Story!!! Its so stinkin cute! I still need to put up his letters that spell him name that I made. I accidentally broke the "M" trying to pull it off the wall at the old house so I have to re-do that one.  When its finished it'll be super cute. ( I'll post pictures later)

The other day I let Matthew feed himself Spaghetti! It was so funny. It was the first time I have let him feed himself "real" food and he sure did make a terrible mess!! That night was full of "first." I also had never given him an actual bath in the bathtub before. In our old house our bathroom only had a shower so bathing a baby wasn't exactly ideal so we had one of those sink bathtubs that we used. In our new house we have a separate shower and tub so I was able to give him his first REAL bath after the mess he made with the spaghetti. He wasn't really sure if he liked it but I think after a few times he'll learn to love the bathtub. ( buying bath toys does help :)  )

I can't wait to get this house fully decorated and post some pictures!!

I also just got promoted at work... I am the office supervisor!! This is a big step for me and I am super excited that the new owners of our practice want me to be their office supervisor! I am so grateful for the opportunity. I have been at my job for 3 and a half years, it'll be 4 in November and I absolutely LOVE it. I am so grateful that Dr. Garcia found me at the urgent care and took me under her wing and has loved and trusted me for the past 3 years.
