STUPID!!!!

 

Yep, that's right I give those of you who read my blog

permission to call me stupid!!

Let me explain why...

 

I have spent 2 days (much longer because I've been trying to figure this out for awhile)

trying to figure out how to change the font on my blog. I have noticed some of my

friends and some friends of friends have really cute fonts on their blog.

This lead me to google how to add a cute font to my blog.

That lead me to a website with step by step directions on how to add a font.

It consisted of downloading a font from their website and then "unzipping" it,

then opening an account on some website called webs.com (which I am now a member of)

where I then had to download 4 other  files.

After unzipping and downloading...

 

 

POOF

I should be able to have a super cute font on my blog right??

NOPE!! NOTHING! NADA!

Same old boring font I had before. 

All the unzipping and downloading was a HUGE 2-3 hours of time wasted!!!

 

Now how do I have a cute font you might be asking??

Freaking blogger has an option in their template to change the font.

You just go to the advanced options and choose a font!!

How freaking easy is that?

I'm SOOOO MAD that I wasted so much time when it was right there

in front of my face the entire time!!

The thing that makes me so mad is that this MUST be a recent change because a

couple months ago when I started this stupid escapade there was only

the plain fonts as an option.

At least that's my story...

and I'm sticking to it.

Moral of the story....

Sometimes things really ARE just that easy.

And now I have a super cute font and I am happy.

It made my day  morning (its 12:58AM)
