Finding Happiness

These past few months have been super tough. Probably some of the hardest and most challenging. But I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. We have finally moved into my parents condo and are all settled in. Being here has just been so comfortable and...... HAPPY.

I never thought I would be able to use that word so freely. I have even been weaning myself off my anti depressants. After 2 years I feel like things are finally starting to calm down. The stress of the past 2 years is enough to last me a lifetime.
Now I am dealing with ridiculous congestion. My allergies are always bad but lately I have been so stuffed up. So naturally I do what everyone does and get nasal spray. Well, now I'm having rebound congestion because I used too much of the nasal spray.
This has been an on again, off again problem for more than 6 months. I've had 7 sinus infections in 6 months. I had an x-ray of my sinuses done a couple weeks ago but everything was normal.
I have a mild deviated septum but nothing that would cause the kind of congestion I'm having. So this is how I've figured its definitely the nasal spray. Now the problem is I need the spray so I'm not congested but if I keep taking the spray I'll never get off it. It's a lose lose situation and I'm dying. I came across a different homeopathic nasal spray which is basically shooting straight pepper up your nose and it sort of works but not like the other nasal sprays.
I know I need to just cut it cold turkey but I don't know how.

So that's my life as of late.

Everyone else is doing really good.
Berto is working as usual, nothing new there.

Kourtney is being her usual bratty self. We are TRYING to potty train and she wants absolutely NOTHING to do with it. She wants everything her way and ONLY her way.
It's incredibly frustrating.
She's happy most of the time. Things have been much better with her since we moved. The stress of all that really changed her personality for awhile there.

Matthew is my big news!


He officially is graduating from the speech program at his school!!! After 3 years he is finally testing into the average speech range and no longer qualifies for their speech therapy program. It's SO great to hear. He will still receive some services to help with mistakes he makes that are normal for his age but he no longer needs a specific program made for him! He is doing so well in school. His teacher says his strongest area is MATH! Haha he MUST get that from Berto. I mean, I made it all the way thru trigonometry but I wasn't good at it!
I'm just so proud of him.

So we're just here in our happy little place. Happy to be living where we are and happy with life at the moment.
