He is a petite little man.... haha
He weighs 24.8 lbs which puts him in the 20% range.....
His height is 34 inches which puts him in the 40% range.....
He's always been smaller with his weight but this is the first time he is below average for his height. I bet he hits a growth spurt and shoots up.
He is talking more and more everyday. He likes to say Bye and then an object.
For example: Bye car, Bye daddy.
He has also started saying My. (ie: my night night (the binky), my car.)
And his newest thing is OW. If you brush up against him he says OW, if you poke him to get his attention he says OW, if you look at him the wrong way he says OW. Its funny until you're in public and he decides that whatever you're doing is OW. People give you the look of, "what are you doing to your child?" even though I didn't even touch him.
He is super attached to everyone other than me lately. (I think its the pregnancy) If daddy is home he wants to play with him, if he leaves Berto better plan on taking him with unless he's going to work and then we pretty much have a meltdown.
Same thing with my mom. Grandma can never leave without him having a meltdown.
But, if i leave its, "bye momma." He is practically pushing me out the door! :(
I am now 13 weeks. I'm a whole week into my second trimester and do I feel any better? NO. I had my appt last week and I pretty much demanded anti-nausea meds (politely of course). I have already lost 3 lbs which is exactly what happened with Matthew and I couldn't keep any weight on with Matty. Luckily my OB has no intentions of making me try other methods first. She said she doesn't want to make me suffer if I already know the Zofran works. So things are a little better with those little miracle pills.
This pregnancy is so different than it was with Matthew (care wise). With Matty I had an ultrasound practically at every appt. It was nice because I got to see him so often. The only reason was because that OB said I had a cyst on my ovary that they were concerned about and they wanted to keep an eye on the growth. There were other issues that they worried me with too. This time around I have a new OB and she isn't concerned at all so I have only had 1 ultrasound and the next one won't be until we find out the sex of the baby. Which is at 18 or 19 weeks. POO.... I want to know sooner ;)
Other than that nothing new around the Serrano household. We LOVE Berto's new hours. He works 4 days a week 8am-7pm and has 3 full days off. Its so nice having him home more often to help.
We have lots of birthdays to be celebrated this month. Matty was 2 weeks ago, mine is wednesday, my mom is on saturday! July is a busy busy month in my family. Thank goodness this one is due in January. That month is pretty free and clear in my clan. Until next time.
