Happy Thanksgiving!
Love, The Serrano Family
Roberto, Julie, Matthew, and Baby Girl
Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We spent ours with my Grandma. We left Tustin the night before to try and avoid the traffic into LA. Boy, that was a good idea! The traffic Wednesday night was T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E! It took us over 2 hours to get to Grandma's! Glad we decided not to do it ON Thanksgiving. We would have spent the whole day in traffic.
Other than me not getting any sleep at all while we were there (noisy neighbor) we had a lot of fun! Matty sure enjoyed Great Grandma! :)
It was different not spending the holiday with my mom. First time in 24 years!
Since I am lame I only got one picture from the whole day and of course its of Matthew. He LOVED Grandma's potatoes, candied yams, and oh man he went wild for her whipped cream!!!!
Licked the plate clean and entertained all of us!
I made the apple pie for Thanksgiving. (I don't even like apple pie but the hubby is obsessed and it was the only thing Grandma said I had to bring) I think it turned out pretty. No idea how it tasted though. ;)
We waited until the next morning around 9ish before we made our way to the stores. The only thing we bought was 2 pillows at Target. Decorative pillows that are normally $20 a piece were 2 for $10. I couldn't pass!
Later that night when Berto got off work he found Harry Potter 8 disc set on Amazon for half the price so it was only $40! And he bought a game.
I was looking for good deals on newborn clothes but I didn't really find any! Last year we scored a TON of clothes for Matthew so I figured we could do it again for the new baby. We didn't find a single thing!
Great Grandma crocheted a really cute pink blanket for baby girl. I was very excited because everything Grandma makes is special and beautiful!
(Mom, everything you make is special and beautiful too. I'm waiting to see what you've done or are doing.... since Matty has about 8 blankets cause you went crazy when he was born!)
I have been making progress on my cross stitch.
This is the top left corner of the project. It's a tree if you can't tell. It's getting there ever so slowly. The stitches are SO small, but I am determined to finish at least ONE of these cross stitch projects I start.
I am 32 weeks and 4 days. Officially 8 months along.
I leave a week from tomorrow to head back to AZ.
I'm getting nervous/anxious. Not sure how I feel about leaving the hubby for over a month and its a little scary to think in a little less than a month and a half we will have 2 children!!
I really need to get the ball rolling on getting ready for this baby. I am SO behind.
Well that's all.
Til next time

Oh and because Matty is a goofball.....
